The wind is ever-changing as we once again get accustomed to finding ourselves anew.
Our ducks are slowly getting ready to fly again, initially with wine, gifts and glasses to drink from.
The Alimentari or ‘deli’, if you will, can still be found in its physical form at Ved Stranden 10. Well stocked with all things necessary; milk, marzipan, muratta, meats, memories, meggs and other things starting with an m - like tomato sauce and pasta / chocolate and beers.
We are working on getting the deli online, but for now an appropriately distant stroll is needed and might I say needed indeed.

Alter Ego
The two ducks is the online store alter ego of Ved Stranden 10 Vinhandel & Bar and Admiralgade 26. Here we aim to provide you with wine, necessities, stories and cravings in support of your home life.
Ved Stranden 10 opened as a wine shop and bar in November 2009 with the mere idea of creating a space for people to meet and a place for us to call home.
In the summer of 2016 we opened our Restaurant, our elephant: Admiralgade 26. Built with an urge to understand why and a wish to be present.
Just as at Ved Stranden we wanted to create a place where we can let the sunlight in, preserve or rediscover tranquility and, most importantly, meet.
On a sunny Saturday in March not so many days ago outside the wine bar two ducks where lying on the pier, close enough to the edge so they could overlook the canal below them.
They seemed calm as ever and seemingly unaware. The sight provided us with a certain tranquility in the midst of the surreal.
An aspiration to stay composed and at home until it’s time to meet once again.
The home page is mostly in Danish but highly understandable. The essentials are translated or if in doubt do contact us.
